I’d love to share a handy tech tip—using an iPad as a mobile document camera—so students can easily display and talk through their thinking without bringing manipulatives to the front. I’ll also walk you through Kindergarten proficiency scales and thinking strategies, plus primary-friendly anchor charts and simple hand motions to help students remember them. I can show how to weave these strategies across standards (not just in reading)—for example, using monitor-for-meaning/determine-importance in word problems or applying synthesizing strategies to shapes.
